The All-School Marathon takes place every year in the fall and is an exciting day for our walkers and bikers. The kids work hard for several weeks in order to meet their fundraising goals. They are rewarded with exciting prizes that motivate them, such as movie days, brand new bikes, field trips, and ice cream socials. The monies they raise go toward new equipment and supplies for their school, such as lunch tables and technology. Never underestimate the capabilities of motivated young students!
Your participation is vital to the safety and success of the marathon!
It is important for the safety of our students out on the trail to have adults at the road crossings as well as biking with groups of students. Volunteers, please plan to be at CCLS by 12:00 pm for assignments and directions.

Mom’s and Dad’s, Grandma’s and Grandpa’s, and CCLS supporters are all invited to join us on Friday, September 20 for all of our All-School Marathon Events!

9:00 am Welcome / Opening Prayer - Mr. Boehlke
9:10 am Awards / Drawing for $100 Gift Card & Disney Tickets - Joan Corey & Sue Liesmaki
9:30 am Obstacle Course Instructions - Mr. Boehlke
9:30 - 11:00 am Obstacle Course in the gym, Grades Preschool through Kindergarten
Preschool will finish at 11:00 am
11:20 am Lunch (2 lunch services: 11:20 & 11:55 am)
12:30 - 2:15 pm Bike / Walk Marathon, First through Eighth Grades
First through second grade will walk along the 30th Street Wetland Trail.
Third through eighth grade have the choice to walk the 30th Street Wetland Trail or bike on the Luce Line Trail.
Bring your student's bike to school either in the afternoon of Sept. 19th (kept overnight in the gym) or on the morning of Sept. 20th.
REMEMBER YOUR HELMETS!!!
Each week's TOP fundraiser will open the Mystery Prize that is displayed in the hallway.
For every $100 increment raised, your name will go into a drawing for either a $100 gift card OR 6 One-Day passes to Disney (indicate on form which you prefer).
EVERYONE that turns in a form with ANY DONATION AMOUNT will pick a prize from the table on Wednesdays. (Students, BE SURE TO NOTIFY our marathon volunteers about your pledge donations!)
The three GRAND prizes have all been announced, which are:
1. SISIGAD Two-Wheel Self Balancing Hoverboard 6.5" with Bluetooth Speaker and LED Lights
2. Power Core E90 Electric Scooter - Light Green
3. GoPro Hero 4 Silver Edition Touchscreen + 40 pcs Extreme Sports Package Bundle (Refurbished)
If each student collects $75 our school would earn $10,000!
Every student and staff member would win MULTI-COLORED HAIR!!! (wash-out chalk paint)
(Don't worry, mom and dad, it's temporary - and only for those who wish to participate.)
If every student collects $90 our school would earn $12,000!
The prize for 3rd-8th graders = Snow Tubing!! WOOHOO!!
The prize for preschool-2nd graders = The Children's Museum in Hutchinson!! YAY!!
Families can choose to fundraise together or separate, just indicate on your pledge forms (write ONE student per form OR indicate siblings fundraising together on ONE form).
